Job summary

Fillauer in the United States is seeking a Senior/Lead Production Planner to drive scheduling across multiple work centers, optimize capacity, and manage demand planning using ERP/MRP systems. You will partner with Procurement, Engineering, Quality, and Finance to resolve constraints, develop planning scenarios, and lead improvements in on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in production planning, strong analytical skills, and CPIM/CSCP preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, logistics, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems with ability to analyze data and drive planning decisions.
• Experience managing production schedules across multiple work centers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify root causes and solutions.
• Experience with forecast review, inventory analysis, and demand/supply balancing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; capable of leading cross-functional discussions.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production scheduling and priority setting across work centers.
• Manage production job schedules across planning horizons to support on-time delivery.
• Build and assess planning scenarios in response to demand changes, capacity constraints, or supply disruptions.
• Resolve complex scheduling, WIP, and delivery issues beyond the daily planner scope.
• Review forecasts and recommend production plans for leadership input and approval.
• Identify and implement routine enhancements to planning processes and ERP parameters.
• Coordinate new product release planning to ensure supply readiness at launch.
• Mentor Production Planners and Planning Coordinators; provide guidance to team members.
