Job summary

Fillauer Companies, Inc. in Chattanooga, TN, seeks a Senior Manufacturing Production Planner to optimize scheduling, capacity, and materials across multiple work centers.

You will lead daily planning, analyze constraints, and collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, Quality, and Finance to ensure on-time delivery and efficient production. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in production planning, strong ERP/MRP experience, and proven cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in supply chain or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of related production planning experience.
• Strong proficiency in ERP/MRP and data analysis for planning decisions.
• Experience managing production schedules across multiple work centers.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of BOMs, routings, and work center operations; CPIM/CSCP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production scheduling and set priorities across work centers.
• Analyze capacity, labor and material constraints to mitigate risks.
• Review forecasts and develop production plans for leadership input.
• Prepare KPI reporting and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate new product release planning with cross-functional teams.
• Mentor junior planners and support planning staff.
