Job summary

TAS Energy Inc. in Houston is seeking a Sr. Production Planner I to ensure on-time delivery by managing production schedules, material availability, and MRP-driven demand. You will mentor planners and serve as an ERP subject matter expert.

The role requires advanced ERP proficiency, cross-functional collaboration with Purchasing, Engineering, and Scheduling, and a proven ability to optimize material flow and mitigate schedule risk.

Qualifications

• Experience with JIT, MRP, CRP, Lean or similar waste-elimination processes.
• APICS CPIM certification is a plus.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Experience with MS Project and/or Great Plains desired.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Proficient with data collection systems and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Plan, release, and manage production orders.
• Verify drawings, BOMs, routings, and material availability.
• Ensure material staging prior to manufacturing release.
• Monitor production progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Expedite materials and resolve constraints.
• Analyze MRP outputs for material and schedule risks.
• Identify and mitigate shortages and capacity constraints.
• Validate system data against schedules.
• Collaborate with Scheduling and cross-functional teams.
• Provide advanced ERP proficiency and planning logic expertise.
