Job summary

TAS Energy Inc., a Houston-headquartered provider of modular energy systems, is seeking a Production Planning Manager to lead the planning team and align manufacturing, procurement, engineering and project management to a cohesive production schedule. The role requires 5-7 years in production planning in an engineer-to-order environment, with ERP/MRP experience and strong communication.

You will drive material planning, schedule adherence, and continuous improvement while ensuring resources meet

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science or technical degree from an accredited university.
Extensive industry or military experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing environments is required.

Responsibilities

Manage staff of Production Planners including recruiting, selecting, orientating and training employees as well as managing their schedules and performance.
Drive optimization of the MRP/ERP system.
Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Purchasing and Master Scheduler for accurate material planning.
Track material movement throughout the shops.
Ensure leads have what is needed to complete jobs.
Cover peak workloads and absences with planned deliverables.
Any other duties as assigned by TAS.
