Job summary

TAS Energy, a Houston, TX–based company, seeks a Production Planning Manager to lead the Production Planning team and drive material planning across engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and project management functions. You will optimize ERP/MRP usage while coordinating with engineering and shop personnel to ensure timely, accurate material flow and on-time delivery.

The role requires strong experience in engineer-to-order environments, excellent communication, and the ability to lead a team

Qualifications

• 5-7 years production planning experience in an engineer-to-order environment.
• 3-5 years management experience with at least 3-5 direct reports.
• MRP key user experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a Production Planning strategy.
• Manage staff of Production Planners including recruitment, training, and performance.
• Drive optimization of the MRP/ERP system in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Work with Production, Engineering, Purchasing and Master Scheduler to ensure accurate material planning.
• Track material movement and support production leads to ensure readiness.
