Job summary

TAS Energy Inc. is seeking a Production Planning Manager to work hands-on with Product Manufacturing, Planning, Scheduling, Procurement, Project Management, Engineering and Configuration Control teams to develop and implement a Production Planning strategy.

The role emphasizes leading a team of production planners, optimizing the MRP/ERP system, and ensuring material availability for on-time production across engineering-to-order environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or technical degree from an accredited university.
• Extensive industry or military experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

Responsibilities

• Manage Production Planners staff, recruit, orient, train, and supervise schedules and performance.
• Drive optimization of the MRP/ERP system
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Purchasing and Master Scheduler for accurate material planning
• Track material movement and ensure availability for production
• Support leads to ensure they have needed resources to complete jobs
• Cover peak workloads and absences with planner deliverables
• Perform additional duties as assigned by TAS
