Job summary

TAS Energy, a Houston-based company, seeks a Sr. Production Planner I to ensure on-time product delivery by proactively managing production schedules, material availability, and MRP-driven demand.

The role includes mentoring planners, optimizing ERP planning logic, and leading risk mitigation in a high‑pressure environment. You will partner with Engineering, Purchasing and Manufacturing to resolve constraints, validate data, and drive continuous improvements in planning processes and material

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in production planning.
• Experience as a senior/lead planner in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of managing schedule risk, material constraints, and system-driven planning logic.
• Strong data integrity and ERP planning knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Plan, release, and manage production orders independently.
• Verify drawings, BOMs, routings, and material availability.
• Ensure material staging prior to manufacturing release.
• Monitor production progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Expedite materials and resolve constraints.
• Analyze MRP outputs for material and schedule risks.
• Identify and mitigate shortages and capacity constraints.
• Validate system data against actual schedules.
• Partner with Scheduling and cross-functional teams.
