Financial Talent Group seeks an experienced Production Planner in Colorado Springs to optimize manufacturing schedules and align them with customer demand.

The role requires 5+ years in production planning within manufacturing, strong ERP/MRP experience (Sage 300 preferred), and solid knowledge of inventory, purchasing, and scheduling.

Candidates must be US citizens, able to obtain a security clearance, and work on-site in Colorado Springs; a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of Production Planner experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems; Sage 300 preferred.
• Strong knowledge of forecasting, MRP, production planning, and scheduling.
• Thorough understanding of inventory, purchasing, materials management, and warehousing.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and MS Office skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; ability to resolve production issues.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage changing priorities with urgency.
• Defense or defense-contracting manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Create and manage manufacturing orders within ERP based on customer needs.
• Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
• Identify material shortages impacting schedules; coordinate with Purchasing.
• Expedite or defer orders based on priorities and inventory changes.
• Coordinate order priorities with Production Supervisor and Manager.
• Understand labor hours, machine hours, and processes per product line.
• Monitor order status and communicate delays and issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory transactions related to production and RMA.
• Coordinate shipment documentation for new builds and RMAs in ERP.
• Ensure required customer and shipping docs are complete by deadlines.
• Support continuous improvement of planning, scheduling, and material-flow processes.
