6 Degrees Search is seeking a Production Planner in Stafford, VA. This on-site role focuses on aligning materials, orders, and production schedules with demand, working closely with Procurement, Inventory Control, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure readiness and timely execution.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in production planning, experience with ERP/MRP systems, strong MRP knowledge, and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or related fields.
Experience using ERP/MRP systems.
Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) concepts.
Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and data analysis.
Proficiency with SharePoint and Microsoft Office 365.

Responsabilités

Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts, orders, inventory, and capacity.
Monitor work orders and progress to ensure adherence to plans.
Review material shortages and coordinate to minimize disruptions.
Create, release, and maintain manufacturing work orders in the ERP system.
Ensure materials, work orders, and planning data are accurate and available.
Update Bills of Materials, routing, and planning parameters.
Track status, attainment, progress, consumption, and output accuracy.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve planning issues.
Generate and maintain production, inventory, and planning reports.
Perform other duties in support of manufacturing needs.
