Triple-S Steel Holdings, Inc. is seeking an experienced Production Planner in Colorado to coordinate production schedules and optimize inventory.

You will collaborate with supply chain, manufacturing, and procurement to align plans with business goals and use SAP/Oracle ERP systems to manage data. You will forecast demand, manage MRP, and implement lean improvements to reduce lead times and waste while maintaining detailed scheduling records for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience with MRP and demand planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on demand planning, inventory levels, and capacity constraints.
• Collaborate with supply chain, manufacturing, and procurement to align production plans with business goals.
• Use ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) to input, monitor, and adjust production data.
• Manage MRP processes to optimize inventory and reduce waste.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles to improve workflow and reduce lead times.
• Forecast future demand and adjust production schedules accordingly.
• Monitor inventory management to meet production needs without excess.
• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
• Identify bottlenecks or delays and develop contingency plans.
• Maintain documentation of scheduling activities for reporting and continuous improvement.
