Tarte Cosmetics in New York is seeking a Sr. Coordinator, Production Planning to develop a 12-month production plan aligned with Demand Planning forecasts and safety stock targets.

The role requires strong analytical skills and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced cosmetics environment. You will manage SKU-level planning, lead-time adjustments, and inventory strategies while ensuring data integrity across planning systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in production planning or related field (cosmetics/beauty preferred).
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables and VLOOKUP).
• Strong written and verbal communication; organized and analytical.
• Ability to develop and execute short- and long-term plans.
• Able to perform under pressure with multiple priorities.
• Collaborative team player in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Develop and validate monthly finished goods production plans and component supply requirements to support on-time delivery.
• Maintain accuracy of production planning parameters within systems.
• Set production priorities and coordinate with Demand Planning on timelines.
• Communicate with cross-functional stakeholders to align on plans.
• Manage inventory across finished goods, WIP, components, including slow-moving items.
• Drive proactive production and inventory strategies to minimize stockouts.
• Build planning tools and files to support scheduling and decision-making.
• Oversee depletion of obsolete components and transitions to new materials.
• Analyze and adjust SKU-level lead times to improve reliability.
• Evaluate lead times across categories and identify optimization opportunities.
• Support special program planning and performance analysis.
