Job summary

tarte cosmetics seeks a highly analytical Sr. Planning Analyst to support forecasting and demand planning across our channels. You will manage SKU-level forecasts, drive performance analysis, and collaborate with teams to optimize inventory for launches and promotions.

The role requires comfort with large datasets, retail and digital commerce dynamics, and strong communication skills; you’ll partner to scale global planning capabilities and drive efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Analytics, Economics, or related field.
• 2–4 years in demand planning or digital analytics in a consumer brand or eCommerce environment.
• Advanced Excel; experience with Vanguard; BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to synthesize insights from large datasets.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist SKU-level demand planning for core, promotional, and newness assortments with guidance from Demand Planning and Merchandising teams.
• Monitor sales trends, seasonal shifts, and launch performance to improve forecast accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze retailer and product performance trends and variances to forecast.
• Analyze data to identify demand drivers, risks, and gaps; build dashboards and reports for KPIs and forecast accuracy.
• Conduct post-launch and promotional analyses to inform planning strategies.
