Job summary

Dover Precision Components, Beargins Plus brand, is seeking a Senior Production Planner for our South Houston/Pearland facility. You will forecast, plan, and coordinate production, repairs, and schedules to meet customer demand.

Responsibilities include managing capacity, aligning labor and materials, and optimizing inventory while driving on-time delivery and efficiency across the shop floor.
Strong experience in ERP systems and MS Excel is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Associate’s degree required in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or related area.
• 4+ years’ experience in production scheduling in machine shops and/or manufacturing environments.
• Strong experience in Rough Cut Capacity Planning, Capacity Management, and execution to Master Production Schedule.
• Direct experience procuring products and components and maintaining supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide production forecasting, coordination, and planning based on customer demand.
• Manage Rough Cut Capacity Planning & Capacity Management; ensure Master Production Schedule execution.
• Schedule manufacture/repair orders and align labor, materials, and machinery with demand.
• Set ERP settings in Syteline and optimize inventory flow to meet customer metrics.
• Develop and present plan reports; explain variances and improvements.
• Keep sales informed of order status and adapt to urgent repair work when needed.
