Job summary

Dover Precision Components in Jeffersonville, IN is hiring a Production Planner or Senior Production Planner to create and manage the master production plan. The role collaborates with production, global supply chain, engineering and other functions to forecast, schedule, and drive plant operations to meet customer demand.

Candidates bring 2+ years in production planning, strong analytical skills, and teamwork. Syteline ERP and MS Excel experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in production planning within manufacturing.
• Strong communication and ability to adapt to changing demands.
• Proficiency in data analysis and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage the master production plan in coordination with cross-functional teams.
• Forecast, schedule, and align production with demand and capacity.
• Communicate delays/issues and adjust schedules accordingly.
• Maintain routing/BOM understanding and update as needed.
• Support cycle counts and ensure on-time delivery.
