Job summary

Dover Precision Components, located in South Houston, is seeking a Senior Production Planner to coordinate and optimize production planning for our Bearings Plus operations. You will forecast demand, align labor, materials, and machinery, and drive on-time delivery across the shop floor.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in production scheduling, strong Excel skills, and experience with Rough Cut Capacity Planning.

Qualifications

Minimum Associate’s degree required in a related field; Bachelor’s preferred.
4+ years’ experience in production scheduling in machine shops or manufacturing.
Experience with Rough Cut Capacity Planning and Capacity Management; able to execute to Master Production Schedule.

Responsibilities

Provide production forecasting, coordination, and planning based on customer demand.
Manage Rough Cut Capacity Planning & Capacity Management to support the Master Production Schedule.
Schedule manufacture/repair orders, align labor, materials, and equipment with due dates.
Set and maintain ERP settings in Syteline; optimize inventory flow and policy settings.
Develop reports, analyze capacity constraints, and drive inventory turns and on-time delivery.
