Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation, a leader in engineered solutions, seeks a Production Planner to align master production schedules with customer needs at our Woburn, MA site. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage material availability, and drive on-time delivery through data-driven planning.

Applicants should have a BA in a related field and 2–4 years of experience; APICS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Operations or related field.
2-4 years of experience in production planning or supply chain.
APICS certification preferred.
Must be a US Citizen or have US Permanent Resident Status.

Responsibilities

Schedule and expedite orders and stock transfers to meet customer requirements.
Act as primary customer contact for production status and shipping information.
Identify material requirements and ensure accurate item master file and BOM.
Advise teams on work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems.
Lead continuous improvement in planning processes and inventory strategies.
Coordinate with Quality, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, Inventory, Shipping, and Contract Administration.
Prepare work orders or purchase requests to support master schedule.
Lead yearly physical inventory for the location.
Resolve shipment issues, shortages, and engineering changes.
Compliance with Government/Commercial Practices Manual.
