Placements24 client in oil & gas seeks a Senior Petroleum Engineer specializing in Production Optimization to join a fully remote team. You will apply advanced engineering and analytics to boost hydrocarbon recovery and improve field performance across a diverse portfolio.

Responsibilities include analyzing production data, developing enhancements, monitoring wells, performing economic evaluations, and mentoring junior engineers while collaborating with global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
• Master's degree preferred for advanced roles.
• Minimum 8 years in petroleum engineering focusing on production operations and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production data to identify optimization opportunities (artificial lift, water flooding, EOR).
• Develop and implement production enhancement strategies and projects.
• Monitor well and field performance, diagnosing issues and recommending actions.
• Conduct economic evaluations of production optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with reservoir engineers and operations teams to meet targets.
• Use forecasting and simulation tools to predict performance and scenarios.
• Prepare technical reports and recommendations for management.
• Mentor junior engineers and stay updated on industry practices.
