Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or closely related field.
• Master's degree advantageous.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in petroleum engineering with focus on production operations and optimization.
• Proven expertise in artificial lift design, selection, and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical skills for well performance analysis and data interpretation.
• Experience with production engineering software and relevant analytical tools.
• Leadership, communication and remote collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze well and field production data to identify opportunities for production enhancement and optimization.
• Design, implement, and manage artificial lift systems (e.g., ESPs, rod pumps, gas lift).
• Conduct decline curve analysis, material balance calculations, and other production forecasting methods.
• Evaluate and recommend well intervention strategies, such as recompletions, stimulation, and workovers.
• Collaborate with reservoir engineers, geoscientists, and facility engineers to develop integrated production strategies.
• Monitor production performance, diagnose issues, and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Develop and maintain production databases and reporting systems.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior petroleum engineers.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in production engineering.
• Prepare technical reports, economic evaluations, and presentations for management.
