Commercial Metals in Melissa, TX seeks an entry-level to mid-level operator to support loading, operating fabrication equipment, and maintaining a clean work area. You will learn steel reinforcement manufacturing and gain hands-on experience across machinery and processes.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliability. Training and advancement opportunities are provided, with potential overtime in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Attend training regarding applicable equipment.
• Assist in loading fabricated rebar on trailers and unloading stock material.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition.
• Mentor and train team members on proper equipment use.
• Operate production machines per procedures and guidelines.
• Participate in safety programs and uphold safety culture.
• Serve as leadman in absence when necessary.
• Operate rebar fabrication equipment (shears, benders, cranes, forklift, threaders, welders).
