Job summary

Commercial Metals Company is seeking team-oriented individuals for roles in our fabrication and loading operations. You will be trained to operate fabrication equipment, assist with loading and unloading materials, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliability in a fast-paced setting. Starting pay rate is $18.00 per hour, with opportunities to train, advance, and participate in our safety programs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outside under all weather conditions to include heat and cold.
• Able and willing to cross train as required.
• Follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies, rules, and regulations.
• Possess a strong work ethic and practice safe working habits.
• Ability to work as a team player in a fast paced environment and find root causes for issues.
• Must be able to operate fabrication machines in a safe manner without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Attend training regarding applicable equipment.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
• Assist in loading fabricated rebar on trailers and unloading stock material from trailers.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition.
• Operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and upholds the CMC Safety Culture.
