Job summary

Commercial Metals is seeking team members to join our fabrication operations in a fast-paced environment. You will train on equipment and perform tasks across multiple machines to load, fabricate, and move rebar products in a safe, efficient manner.

Responsibilities include operating shears, benders, cranes, forklifts, threaders and welders, while following established procedures. Overtime and teamwork are essential, with emphasis on quality, safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outside in all weather
• Cross-train as needed
• Follow OSHA/EPA safety policies
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods
• Experience in heavy industrial environments preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Attend training regarding applicable equipment
• Operate rebar fabrication equipment (shears, benders, cranes, forklift, threaders, welders)
• Load and unload stock material from trailers
• Maintain clean, orderly work area and equipment
• Support safety programs and uphold safety culture
• Perform duties as needed and cross-train on multiple machines
• Read and follow technical service manuals
