Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Sunnyvale, CA, is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Production Operations to lead one or more project teams, oversee execution and ensure on-time and on-budget performance.

The role requires a BS with 5+ years (8+ for Sr.), ERP/SAP experience, EVMS, and U.S. Government Secret clearance; travel up to 10%. The position offers competitive benefits and salary ranges referenced by level and scope.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience; OR a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience using ERP systems.
Ability to obtain a U.S.Government Secret Clearance.
U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

Resolve manufacturing issues by working with cross-functional teams.
Coordinate responses with functional organizations to keep projects on schedule.
Propose, plan/baseline, and execute to the performance management baseline.
Perform risk and opportunity management functions for the manufacturing scope in concert with the overall program RSKOM.
Perform EVMS and cost account management functions.
Resolve material, manpower, and machine issues to ensure successful manufacturing performance.
Travel as required (generally less than 10%).
