Job summary

QinetiQ US is seeking an Operations Program Manager to lead the flagship production programs at our Franklin, MA site. You will own the connection between program commitments and floor execution, managing the build plan, material availability, and integration with the master schedule.

You will work with engineering, supply chain, quality, and manufacturing to drive on-time delivery, assess operational impact of changes, and lead corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 8+ years in manufacturing operations, production planning, or operations program management with ownership of build and delivery commitments.
• Experience on a DoD or federal production program or in a comparably controlled hardware environment.
• Production schedule integrated to a master schedule with critical path analysis and recovery planning.
• Experience with turnaround tracking and corrective actions in a low-volume, high-mix environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the build plan against the Integrated Master Schedule and maintain link between program commitments and floor execution.
• Drive material to build-need dates with supply chain and reconcile the material plan with the schedule.
• Assess operational impact of ECPs/ECOs and reflect effects in the plan.
• Identify driving path, quantify variance, and drive mitigation plans to closure.
• Lead corrective action on operational misses and manage nonconforming material disposition.
• Partner with supply chain to hold subcontractors to committed dates and follow through on corrective actions.
• Build and run the production status rhythm and present status to leadership.
