Job summary

QinetiQ US is seeking a Contracts Manager to lead a small team of contract professionals supporting hardware development and production programs. You will act as the primary interface to Government contracting officers and prime customers, guiding contract lifecycle from negotiation to closeout.

Reporting to the Director of Contracts, you will ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS, manage risk, and drive consistency across programs while coordinating with program management, engineering, operations,

Qualifications

• 8+ years administering U.S. Government prime contracts and/or major prime subcontracts on the seller side.
• Experience on hardware production programs including delivery, inspection, and acceptance.
• Must be a U.S. Person under ITAR/EAR and eligible for a security clearance.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage contractual risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of contract administrators supporting development and production programs.
• Oversee contract setup, transition, and administration across programs.
• Coordinate with Program Management, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain.
• Provide early contract risk assessments and support capture, proposal strategy, and gate reviews.
• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and contract types; manage closeout.
