Qualifications

• Six to eight years of materials management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills, interpersonal skills, and personal development.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Technical knowledge in automotive manufacturing.
• Strong organization skill.
• Willingness and ability to travel, as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist Plant Manager in developing and attaining business goals related to manufacturing and materials.
• Assist in budget planning and forecasting.
• Ensure safety and health of all functional team members.
• Manage all inventory levels consistent with World Class Manufacturing.
• Develop policies for plant operations supporting quality systems.
