Job summary

Dover Corporation, through its Dover Food Retail arm, is seeking a Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations in Conyers, GA. You will own safety-first culture, drive schedule adherence, and optimize labor across multiple lines for a 260-person team.

Responsibilities include coordinating daily and weekly production plans with cross-functional partners, leading 5 Production Supervisors, and advancing OpEx efforts such as Standard Work, Kaizen, and Jidoka to improve quality and throughput.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or 10+ years leadership experience in manufacturing.
• 10+ years leadership in high-volume manufacturing.
• Experience managing 200+ headcount and supervising leaders.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Own safety-first culture and 100% on-time schedule adherence.
• Coordinate daily/weekly manufacturing schedules with cross-functional teams.
• Directly manage 5 Production Supervisors and a 260-person workforce.
• Monitor headcount and flex labor across lines to optimize utilization.
• Lead OpEx initiatives including Standard Work and Kaizen events.
• Promote stop-and-fix/quality culture at every workstation.
