Dover Food Retail in Conyers, GA, is seeking a Production Manager to own safety-first operations and drive efficiency across a 5-supervisor, 280-person plant.

You will lead daily and weekly schedules, coordinate with Supply Chain, Planning and Logistics, and push continuous improvement through Kaizen and OpEx initiatives.

The role requires a BS in engineering or equivalent leadership experience; you will mentor supervisors and optimize labor while maintaining quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

10+ years of hands-on manufacturing leadership in high-volume plants.
Experience managing 200+ headcount and supervising leaders.
Strong proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and MES.
Lean, Six Sigma, or TPS experience.

Responsibilities

Champion safety-first culture on the floor.
Own daily and weekly production scheduling to ensure on-time delivery.
Align with Supply Chain, Planning, and Logistics to mitigate bottlenecks.
Lead Kaizen events and OpEx initiatives.
Develop and coach 5 Production Supervisors.
Monitor labor utilization and headcount in real-time.
