Job summary

Dover Corporation in Conyers, GA is seeking a Manager, Production to lead safety-first manufacturing operations across multiple shifts, supervising 5 Production Supervisors and ~280 team members. You will ensure on-time production, optimize labor, and allocate resources dynamically to meet demand across zones.

You will collaborate with Supply Chain, Planning, and Logistics to alleviate bottlenecks and consistently improve metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; equivalent hands-on leadership experience will be considered.
• Leadership experience 5–7 years in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record managing 200+ headcount through subordinate leaders.
• Deep understanding of labor efficiency metrics, capacity planning, and line-balancing.
• Lean manufacturing background: Lean, Six Sigma, or TPS.
• ERP/MRP proficiency (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex) and Manufacturing Execution Systems; strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Safety First culture; walk the floor, conduct JSA with supervisors, and model PPE.
• Own daily and weekly schedules to ensure 100% on-time delivery and adjust flow with supply chain when needed.
• Directly manage 5 Production Supervisors and oversee labor planning for ~260–280 team members.
• Co-lead OpEx, SW, LSW, and Tier Accountability; drive Kaizen events to reduce waste and cycle time.
• Establish Stop‑and‑Fix culture; empower operators to stop the line to prevent defects.
