Job summary

Dover Food Retail (DFR) in Conyers, GA is seeking a Manager, Production - 2nd Shift to lead a 280-person manufacturing operation with 5 Production Supervisors. You will own the schedule, drive safety first culture, and optimize labor across multiple zones to meet on-time delivery.

The role demands Lean/Six Sigma experience, strong ERP/MRP skills (SAP, Oracle, Plex), and proven ability to manage large teams while delivering continuous improvement in quality and throughput.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; 10+ years leadership in manufacturing.
• Proven track record managing large teams (200+ headcount) in high-volume plants.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or TPS and ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead Safety First culture and ensure 100% schedule adherence.
• Coordinate daily/weekly production plans across multiple zones.
• Direct 5 Supervisors and ~280 frontline team members; drive continuous improvement.
