Job summary

Novolex is seeking a senior manufacturing leader in California to drive production goals, ensure a safe work environment, and meet customer specifications. The role includes supervising roughly 200 employees across shifts and product lines, with accountability for efficiency, safety, and quality metrics.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Industrial Management, Engineering or Business preferred.
• 5 years of manufacturing experience including 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of statistical methods and process improvement techniques.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong leadership and communication skills across organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned department(s) and teams to meet production goals.
• Typically supervise 200 employees including both salaried and hourly.
• Schedule, track, & monitor production and costs while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Maintain effective workforce through hiring, training, coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Implement and demonstrate best practices and consistent policies.
• Complete timely and accurate reports on critical production outcomes.
• Provide feedback up and down the organization.
• Develop and implement safety awareness programs and investigations.
• Participate in continuous improvement processes.
