Job summary

PLZ Corp is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee an entire shift, drive safety, quality and lean initiatives, and coach team members. The role focuses on maintaining line efficiency, implementing improvements, and ensuring compliance with company standards across manufacturing facilities.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, a high school diploma (BS in engineering a plus), OSHA certification, and knowledge of SAP production systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in manufacturing
• Prior supervisory experience
• Knowledge of SAP production systems
• OSHA certification is a plus
• CPIM/CMS a plus

Responsibilities

• Promote safety-first culture and injury-free workplace
• Set daily goals and monitor productivity/quality
• Lead audits and address issues with departments
• Investigate quality exceptions and drive corrective actions
• Lead daily toolbox talks and coach the shift team
• Develop lean improvements and sustain PLZ improvements
• Coordinate preventive maintenance with department managers
• Provide performance feedback and training plans
• Ensure scheduling and adaptability across shifts
• Maintain housekeeping and lean practices
