Santa Barbara Infrared, Inc. is seeking a Production Control Supervisor to lead a team of schedulers and clerks, plan and track master production schedules, and ensure on-time delivery while optimizing resources across manufacturing, materials, and supporting departments.

The role requires strong knowledge of production control, ERP/MRP systems, and Excel, with 4–6 years in production planning or scheduling and 1–2 years in a supervisory capacity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, supply chain, or related field preferred.
• 4-6 years in production control, planning, or scheduling in manufacturing.
• 1-2 years in a lead or supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and mentor production control clerks and schedulers.
• Develop and adjust master production schedules based on orders, capacity, and material.
• Monitor work orders and production progress; resolve bottlenecks and shortages.
• Coordinate with materials, quality, maintenance, and shipping to ensure on-time delivery.
• Analyze production data and prepare reports for management.
