Santa Barbara Infrared, Inc. is seeking a Production Control Clerk to support manufacturing by tracking and coordinating the flow of materials, work orders, and production schedules.

You will ensure data accuracy and help keep output on track across inventory, purchasing and shipping departments. This entry-level to junior role requires a high school diploma and 1–3 years in production, manufacturing, or inventory control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1–3 years in production/inventory control.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Epicor) preferred.
• Strong data entry with high accuracy; good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update production schedules and work orders.
• Coordinate inventory to meet deadlines and reduce downtime.
• Enter and update data in ERP/MRP systems for job status and downtime.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
• Close out work orders and manage NCRs and ECO processes.
