Candidates should have a high school diploma and 1–3 years in production or inventory control, proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, and strong data-entry accuracy. DOE compensation ranges from $26.44 to $33.65 per hour with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years in production, manufacturing, warehouse, or inventory control.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Epicor, or similar) preferred.
• Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update production schedules, work orders, and job travelers to ensure accurate tracking of jobs through each stage of production.
• Monitor material availability and coordinate with inventory/warehouse staff to ensure components and supplies are on hand to meet production deadlines.
• Enter and update data in production control systems (ERP/MRP software) including job status, quantities produced, scrap, and downtime.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for supervisors and management.
• Track work-in-process (WIP) inventory and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
• Coordinate with purchasing, quality control, and shipping departments to resolve scheduling conflicts or material shortages.
• Issue and close-out work orders, ensuring proper documentation and sign-offs.
• Process non-conformance reports (NCRs) for manufactured and purchased parts, routing them to quality/engineering for disposition, and updating production schedules to reflect rework, repair, or replacement.
• Assist with the ECO process, coordinating changes with production and purchasing groups, and input into ERP to reflect current revision.
