Job summary

Santa Barbara Infrared, Inc. is seeking a Production Control Clerk to support manufacturing by tracking materials, work orders, and schedules. You will ensure data accuracy and coordinate with inventory, purchasing, and shipping to meet production goals.

Required is a high school diploma and 1–3 years in production or inventory roles, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems preferred. On-site, Mon–Fri, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• 1–3 years in production/manufacturing or inventory control.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/Outlook).
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred.
• Strong data entry with high accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update production schedules, work orders, and job travelers.
• Monitor material availability and coordinate with inventory/warehouse staff.
• Enter and update data in ERP/MRP systems for job status and scrap.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
• Track WIP inventory and reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate with purchasing, quality control, and shipping to resolve conflicts.
• Issue and close-out work orders with proper documentation.
• Assist ECO changes and input into ERP systems.
