Job summary

VulcanForms Inc, based in Newburyport, MA, seeks a Senior Production Control Planner to supervise production control and logistics at our state-of-the-art facility. You will plan, schedule, and control production for active customer products, ensuring zero stock-out situations and seamless machine builds.

The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing, strong analytical and planning skills, and experience with Epicor ERP.

Qualifications

• Analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Proven experience in planning and scheduling across production cycles.
• ERP system experience - Epicor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor planning and replenishment of materials for product delivery and machine builds.
• Examine results of the MRP system and part replenishment recommendations.
• Coordinate with Warehouse and Production staff to support shop floor operations and on-time starts.
• Supervise and report production progress for customer deliverables and external vendors.
• Provide delivery commitments to internal customers.
• Oversee daily activity to identify status and escape risk.
• Maintain processes and standard work for efficiency.
• Own files and related documentation.
• Collaborate across functions to expedite material shortages with Procurement and Receiving.
