Job summary

VulcanForms is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Equipment Development Engineer for its Consumer Technology division. You will drive deployment, commissioning, and operation of industrial hardware infrastructure, overseeing equipment selection, installation and qualification, with focus on reliability in a 24/7 production environment.

You will coordinate with Facilities, EHS, Quality, and Process Engineering, define performance metrics, and develop SOPs and training to ensure safe and efficient

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive engineering experience deploying complex manufacturing equipment.
• Experience executing IQ/OQ/PQ protocols and mechanical troubleshooting frameworks.
• Hands-on familiarity with at least two major industrial equipment categories (e.g., CNC/EDM, vacuum/thermal systems, automation).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Robotics Engineering.
• Strong project management and vendor relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deployment, site integration, and qualification (IQ/OQ/SAT) of diverse industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Lead equipment selection and procurement to meet product manufacturing capability and throughput requirements.
• Serve as primary technical point of contact for external equipment manufacturers and troubleshooting.
• Define and monitor equipment performance metrics to maximize OEE and uptime while minimizing MTBF/MTTR.
• Author SOPs, maintenance schedules, and facility integration logs; train staff.
• Collaborate with Facilities, EHS, Quality, and Process Engineering to safely integrate equipment modules.
