You will handle direct material buying, execute supply chain strategies, and lead projects with priority on efficiency and collaboration.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of relevant experience, SAP proficiency, ERP/MRP expertise, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

5+ years of relevant experience in supply chain or purchasing.
ERP/MRP systems expertise; SAP proficiency preferred.
Global supply chain knowledge and strong analytical skills.
Advanced Excel proficiency.
Onsite work location in Irvine, CA.

Responsibilities

Maintain schedules for material requirements and availability to support production control and manage the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments according to schedules.
Compile records of material quantity, cost, and type received, shipped, in stock, or in production.
Determine and address possible and actual material shortages.
Handle direct material buying and execute long-term supply chain strategies.
Manage individual projects, apply advanced knowledge to enhance project performance and operational efficiency, and make operational decisions requiring project management, time management, communication, and industry-specific skills.
