Job summary

Siegfried in Irvine, CA seeks a Sr. Production Planning Specialist to manage material requirements and support manufacturing schedules. You will coordinate with QA, manufacturing, and supply chain to meet targets while optimizing inventory, and ensuring timely raw material availability.

The role requires a bachelor's degree with 5+ years in production planning, experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), and strong data analysis and Excel skills. The position is full-time, on-site in Irvine.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years’ experience in production scheduling, demand or MRP in regulated manufacturing.
• Experience inputting/retrieving data in ERP/MRP systems; SAP or Oracle preferred.
• Strong understanding of material requirements concepts; APICS/Lean Sigma a plus.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-output environments; Excel experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develops, finalizes, and communicates the material requirements plan to meet customer demand.
• Plans and controls material availability to ensure smooth production flow.
• Create process orders in ERP to support the materials plan.
• Ensure on-time deliveries by coordinating with brokers and freight forwarders.
• Monitor supplier performance and escalate disruptions to maintain schedules.
• Maintain SCM KPIs and report site metrics to stakeholders.
