Job summary

Intel Corporation in Hillsboro, Oregon, with additional locations in Texas (Austin) and other US sites, is seeking a Senior LTD yield engineer. You will deliver test and analysis solutions, partnering with design groups to improve product yield across complex semiconductor nodes.

The role emphasizes solving yield problems, developing new analytics methods, and presenting strategies to LTD leadership while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet aggressive yield targets.

Qualifications

• PhD in electrical engineering, computer science, VLSI design, physics and 1+ years of experience in advanced node semiconductor industry in semiconductor yield or product engineering.
• Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, VLSI design, physics and 3+ years of experience in advanced node semiconductor industry in semiconductor yield or product engineering.
• Preferred: Expertise with data analysis systems and software tools.

Responsibilities

• Formulate yield problems mathematically, identify solutions, and remove barriers by influencing stakeholders.
• Identify root causes of yield issues and propose mitigation plans to meet targets.
• Develop new yield analysis methods and algorithms for world-class analytics.
• Collaborate with design teams to debug process/product interactions.
• Develop, organize, and present yield strategies to LTD leadership.
• Work with Program Managers, Process Integration, Device Integration, and Defect teams to identify yield detractors and opportunities.
