Job summary

Intel Corporation in Hillsboro (US OR) and Austin (TX) seeks a Yield Development Engineer to advance semiconductor process yield. You will analyze large data sets, build models, and develop AI/ML tools to improve manufacturability and product quality.

Collaboration with design teams will drive early yield improvements and successful product ramps. The role requires advanced semiconductor experience and strong data analytics, with on-site work in Hillsboro and Austin as part of Intel Foundry

Qualifications

• PhD or Master's with focus in semiconductor science, engineering, or related field
• Experience with advanced semiconductor devices and process flow
• Data analysis systems and software tools preferred
• Yield projection experience with EOL signals and in-line parameters preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop methods and systems to analyze diverse big data sources for defect understanding and yield modeling
• Perform statistical analysis, create visualizations, and build process roadmaps for yield milestones
• Extract insights from structured and unstructured data using statistics, ML, and coding techniques
• Organize and interpret data from fab process, defect, and electrical sources to drive yield improvements
• Develop multivariate algorithms to identify root-cause yield limiters and propose process changes
• Collaborate with design teams to resolve yield issues ensuring manufacturability before ramp
