Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Richardson, TX is seeking a Principal Product/Test Engineer to lead cost-entitlement, wafer-sort yield, and test-cost improvements across Automotive and Industrial portfolios.

This senior role drives new product introduction and legacy-sustaining activities, coordinating fab, assembly, and test teams while applying deep expertise in digital, analog/mixed-signal, RF test and multiple ATE platforms to productize device families and meet cost and quality targets.

Qualifications

• BSEE with extensive experience in Product/Test in Digital, Analog/Mix Signal, RF space.
• Experience with multiple ATE platforms (V93K, UltraFlex, iFlex, ETS800, ETS364).
• Proficiency in C, C++, Python, and/or Java with ability to modify and develop production ATE software.

Responsibilities

• Own cost-entitlement roadmap and delivery of WSY, FTY, test-cost, and COB metrics across Post-Fab Services products.
• Generate automated data analysis reports (eGAP, cWATY, Scrap, etc.).
• Own customer RMA activities and post-RMA root-cause disposition.
• Lead cross-functional yield and cost-reduction initiatives with global teams.
