Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Richardson seeks a Principal Product/Test Engineer to lead cost-entitlement, yield and test-cost programs across Automotive and Industrial semiconductor portfolios. You will own WSY, FTY, COB metrics and coordinate with fab, assembly, and test teams to deliver cost and quality improvements.

Apply deep expertise in digital, analog/mixed-signal and RF test, work with ATE platforms (V93K, UltraFlex, ETS800, iFlex) and write production scripts in C/C++, Python or Java.

Qualifications

• BSEE with 15+ years in Product/Test for digital, analog/mixed-signal, or RF.
• Experience with multiple ATE platforms and testing methodologies.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++, Python and/or Java; ability to modify production ATE software.

Responsibilities

• Own the cost-entitlement roadmap and delivery of WSY, FTY, test-cost, and COB metrics.
• Generate daily/weekly automated data analysis reports and action plans.
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve product issues and drive cost, yield and quality improvements.
• Update and modify existing code to improve efficiency and reduce test costs.
• Manage RMA root-cause analysis and corrective actions with global teams.
