Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Richardson, TX is seeking a Director of Test Automation and Data Analytics to lead multiple teams building next-generation automation platforms, tools, and data solutions for NPDE and Cost Entitlement.

You will define the technical strategy, own end-to-end automation across test program generation, tester-to-peripheral communication, and real-time analytics dashboards, shaping cost, quality, and manufacturing scale.

Qualifications

• Experience in semiconductor test, automation, and AI/ML with hands-on production exposure to test-program development, ATE platforms, and production data flows.
• Proven track record of building and shipping automation platforms and data systems at scale.
• Expert with modern automation and data stacks (Python, ML frameworks, cloud-scale data platforms).

Responsibilities

• Build scalable Test Automation and Data Analytics platforms supporting multiple ATEs and production lines.
• Define and develop Test Method Libraries for reuse and standardization.
• Develop AI agentic test automation to reduce manual workflows.
• Automate Test Program Automation for diverse market segments.
• Automate tester-to-peripherals communications and data transfers.
• Create tools for NPDE and Cost Entitlement teams (audits, GRR, drift analysis).
• Develop real-time analytics dashboards (NPD, Yield/Quality, outlier screening).
• Analyze manufacturing data to drive cost and quality improvements.
• Document gaps and feedback to NPDE/Cost Entitlement teams.
