Amazon is seeking a Sr Manager, Prod Mgmt Tech for AWS Central Economics and Science in Seattle, WA. The role leads the Sales Channels team, partnering with business to optimize sales motions, partner programs, and incentives in multi-sided marketplaces, and to develop and deploy production recommendation systems and feature generation.

Qualifications

Masters or PhD in economics, engineering or related field.
Multiple years experience in industry, consulting, government, academic research or equivalent.

Interface with executives, product/program owners, science leadership, and science ICs to create multi-year research agendas that drive step-change growth for the business.
Responsible for setting and executing the priorities of a centralized team; stakeholder management, working backward and partnering across teams to earn trust.
Own production recommendation systems and feature generation for external systems; experience with production-level development is important.
Shape the strategic direction of the AWS Central Economics and Science team and collaborate with other science teams at AWS, especially in policy development for sellers and partners.
