Job summary

Renesas is seeking a Senior Product Support Engineer to provide expert assistance for Altium Designer, Altium 365, and Enterprise Server technologies within complex customer environments.

You will investigate challenging issues, perform root-cause analysis across multiple technologies, mentor teammates, and collaborate with R&D and Product teams to deliver robust engineering solutions. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Mechatronics or equivalent.
• Strong experience with Altium products and PCB design workflows.
• 6+ years in electronic design software or enterprise engineering support.
• Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
• Experience with PLM, enterprise data management, and authentication systems.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of prioritized customer base and accounts.
• Escalation resource to document technical findings.
• Support customers via FAQs, Knowledge Base, Online Help, and forums.
• Document issues and escalations per support processes.
• Lead root-cause analysis on high-impact escalations with R&D and Product teams.
• Create technical content: online help, guides, videos, KB articles.
• Provide live coaching to teammates and mentor others.
• Test pre-release products and prepare teams for releases.
• Travel occasionally; office time for escalations.
