Renesas Electronics seeks a Senior Product Support Engineer in San Diego to lead complex customer issues across Altium Designer, Altium 365 and Enterprise Server technologies, libraries, data management, and PLM integrations. You will mentor peers, perform deep root-cause analysis, and collaborate with R&D and cross-functional teams in enterprise environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering.
Strong understanding of electronic design software and verification/automation.
Advanced experience with PCB design workflows and Altium products.
6+ years supporting electronic design software or enterprise engineering platforms.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of a prioritized customer base and escalate issues as needed.
Act as escalation resource and document technical findings for cross-functional teams.
Support customers via FAQs, Knowledge Base, Online Help, and Community Forum.
Document issues, case activities, and escalations per support processes.
Drive root cause analysis for high-impact escalations with R&D, PM, and Eng teams.
Create technical content: online help, guides, tutorials, KB articles, etc.
Mentor team members and provide technical leadership across product/workflow domains.
Test pre-release products and features and prepare teams for releases.
