Altium Limited, part of the Renesas Group, is seeking an experienced Enterprise Pre-Sales Field Application Engineer to support strategic enterprise customers through the technical sales process. You will partner with Sales Account Managers to demonstrate how the Altium Platform enables faster product development and improved collaboration across electronics development lifecycle.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
5+ years of experience in Field Applications Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Enterprise Technical Pre-Sales.
Experience supporting enterprise software sales within electronics, PCB design, semiconductor, embedded systems, or engineering software industries.

Responsibilities

Partner with Sales to develop and execute technical strategies for strategic accounts and complex opportunities.
Lead technical discovery sessions to understand the customer’s environment and objectives.
Deliver engaging product demonstrations showcasing the Altium Platform and connected design workflows.
Provide technical consultation on PCB design methodologies and engineering data management.
Develop technical proposals, solution architectures, and implementation strategies that align with customer goals.
Support RFP/RFI responses with technical content and solution recommendations.
Collaborate with Product Management, Customer Success, and Engineering to communicate requirements.
Deliver technical workshops, customer training, and executive presentations.
Assist customers with evaluations, planning, integrations, and best practices.
Conduct competitive positioning against other PCB design platforms.
