Job summary

Corebridge Financial is seeking a Product Strategy and Development Lead to oversee In-Plan Retirement Income products, providing technical oversight and analytical support across the product lifecycle. You will collaborate with project and product managers and stakeholders from IT, Marketing, Legal, Operations, Actuarial and Sales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field required.
• 8+ years in Annuity/Retirement/Financial Services.
• 5+ years in Annuity Product Development and Management.
• Experience launching products through cross-functional orgs.
• FINRA S6 or S7 preferred.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor changes in the competitive landscape with focus on impacts to positioning of proprietary offerings.
• Identify emerging market opportunities, consumer needs, and industry trends to develop strategies that expand into new markets and diversify the product portfolio.
• Partner with the project manager and cross functional project team to scope and document complex business requirements related to new and in-force product initiatives requiring new/enhanced capabilities.
• Contribute to risk management and product governance processes by assessing potential impacts of product design, pricing strategies, and market competitiveness to support portfolio optimization and business growth.
• Monitor and report on emerging experience of the product suite with focus on identifying success drivers and detractors for future product change consideration.
• Help define and execute the short and long term product strategies by maintaining a deep understanding of market dynamics, competitor offerings, regulatory developments, and emerging industry trends.
