Job summary

Clarivate Analytics is expanding its Academia & Govt Product Sales team with a Product Sales Manager for Higher Education across the Midwest and West. You will own product-led sales strategy, build a strong pipeline, and drive cross-sell within universities while supporting selective new logos.

Report to the Director of Research & Analytics Sales, Americas, collaborating with Account Managers and commercial partners.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant work experience.
5+ years in research platform solutions or related integration consulting to Academic clients.
Prior selling experience and in-depth knowledge of the US Academic Market.
Higher education experience.
Proven track record of business development and developing accounts.
Strong ability to cultivate relationships with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Achieve sales targets for assigned products and territories.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with Account Managers.
Leverage product expertise to design and present value-added solutions to increase deal value.
Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to shorten sales cycles.
Establish and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders and ensure customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with Account Managers and other teams to plan and execute sales campaigns.
Build and present reports on activities, pipeline, forecasts, and closing timelines.
Continuously acquire market, industry, and product knowledge to boost performance.
